The automatic indication of wall thickness on 3D CAD models accelerates the design review process and makes it also safer. The draft analysis checks the correct application of a certain draft value to the faces of the part. Mold designers can easily verify draft angles and also examine angle changes inside a face. Also the designer can locate parting lines and identify injection and ejection surfaces.
The Undercut tool indicates isolated areas in a model that could not be ejected from a mold. These areas require then a slider (side core). Relevant areas are marked by color scale.
